Implementation of Sustainability Strategies
Using the traditional plan-do-check-act (PDCA) model, at "do" (an aspect of the implementation phase), you're ready to develop a list of "performance improvement measures" as part of an action plan to meet your target goals. At "check" (also an aspect of the implementation phase), you are continuously measuring and verifying to determine whether you are on track and using the results of those processes to educate staff members so they can build on successes and correct the course where needed.
The Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) Model: An Iterative Process Improvement Cycle

The Implementation section of the Roadmap provides a list of performance improvement measures (PIMs) for energy, water, waste, and supply chain, organized by category. A subset of each PIM list is a list of Green Light projects. Green Light projects are projects that are easy to implement for a variety of reasons but still help propel an organization along the road to sustainability.
Each PIM published in this section of the Roadmap, Green Light project or not, is intended to provide enough information and implementation tools for you to manage your project: design tools, case studies, and resources.
THESE TOOLS ARE IN DEVELOPMENT. IN 2011 THE PIMs LISTS WILL CONTINUE TO BE POPULATED AND ENHANCED. WE COULD USE YOUR HELP. IF YOU HAVE TOOLS, CALCULATORS, OR RESOURCES TO SHARE OR YOU CAN HELP WRITE A CASE STUDY, PLEASE CONTACT US.
