- Purchase Energy Star-qualified products whenever possible.
- Purchase energy-efficient lighting products.
- Purchase energy-efficient office equipment and use conservation settings.
- Purchase fluorescent bulbs from companies with a recycling program.

- Purchase green janitorial paper products with minimal packaging.

- Require an integrated pest management (IPM) approach to pest control.
