  • Energy Star for Healthcare is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy which offers free online energy measurement and management tools and a wealth of other management- and staff-level information and resources.

  • EPA Endangerment Finding: The EPA has ruled it can regulate GHG emissions through the Clean Air Act, based on its finding that the current and projected concentrations of the six key greenhouse gases in the atmosphere threaten the public health and welfare of current and future generations.
  • Healthcare Clean Energy Exchange™: An electronic marketplace that allows Practice Greenhealth members to participate in clean energy reverse auctions.
  • Hospital Energy Alliance. Launched by the U.S. Department Energy in 2009 as part of its Net-Zero Commercial Building Initiative, the Hospital Energy Alliance is an industry-led partnership of more than 20 leading hospital systems and health care organizations across the United States that will help hospitals harness advanced technologies and strategies and shape future research and development.
